Rochester, NY — March 13th, 1997 — Today Ambrosia Software, publisher of award winning Macintosh software, released version 1.0.1 of its latest arcade hit, Bubble Trouble. With the release of this new version is the start of the official High Score Contest.
We're looking for the biggest fish in the sea. Have you got what it takes? Prove it. Ambrosia Software will give $300 to the registered Bubble Trouble user with the highest score. Running until June 30th 1997, the Bubble Trouble High Score Contest is the perfect opportunity to prove your sea-worthiness. Second and third prize winners will win $100 and $50, respectively, for their demonstrated prowess. The top fifty fish-squishers all receive a way cool official Ambrosia Software Bubble Trouble t-shirt.
Developed by Dave Wareing and Alex Metcalf, Ambrosia's Bubble Trouble has enticed players of all ages with its light-hearted (and somewhat soggy) atmosphere and perky sound track. A simple game that is difficult to master, Bubble Trouble offers many hours of fun and entertainment, and now, it offers money! $300 smackers for the biggest fish in the sea!
Current contest front runners will be announced in each issue of Inside Mac Games and The Ambrosia Times as well as maintained on the Ambrosia web site. Deadline for entry is June 30th 1997, and winners will be announced in the July issue of The Ambrosia Times and Inside Mac Games. All entries and high score codes must be sent to Ambrosia Software.
To enter you must be a registered user of Bubble Trouble, and have the newly released Bubble Trouble version 1.0.1, which has been specially modified for the contest. The latest versions of all our products are always available in the Ambrosia Software forums on the following services:
• America Online: While you are signed on AOL, choose Keyword... from the GO TO menu, type AMBROSIA and hit the return key.
